Chris Maddox, known professionally as The Bellowing Baritone, is a seasoned vocalist and professional musician with 30+ years in musical performance.
A UCSB graduate, he found his voice in grade school musical theatre and has now performs everything from Broadway favorites (Phantom, Les Misérables, Little Shop) to the Great American Songbook as a jazz vocalist, and high-energy headline shows with Graceband and Jimmy’s Buffet.
During the pandemic, he gained national attention as the “Crisis Crooner,” with uplifting parody performances featured on ABC, CBS, FOX, Inside Edition, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the front page of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Professional, polished, and commanding on stage, Maddox brings gravitas to arenas, stadiums, and ceremonial events.
